  1. KUISEBMOND EXTENSION 8 AND 9, WALVISBAY: TOWNSHIP ESTABLISHMENTS

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in obtaining approvals from Walvis Bay Municipality, NAMPAB and Townships Board for the need and desirability as well as for layout approvals for the township establisments for Kuisebmond Extension 8 and 9 in Walvisbay. The two townships consists of 382 erven.

  1. MATUTURA EXTENSIONS IN SWAKOPMUND:FOURTEEN TOWNSHIP ESTABLISHMENTS

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in obtaining approvals from Swakopmund Municipality, NAMPAB and Townships Board for the need and desirability as well as for layout approvals for the township establisments for Matutura Proper, Extnesion 1-12 and Swakopmund Extension 37 and 38. The fourteen townships consisted of 2 831 erven earmaked for the low-medium income earners.

  1. OTAVI EXTENSION 7-10: FOUR TOWNSHIP ESTABLISHMENTS

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in obtaining approvals from Otavi Town Council, NAMPAB and Townships Board for the need and desirability as well as for layout approvals for the township establisments for Otavi Extension 7-10. The four townships consisted of 1 113 erven.

FORMALISATION OF INFORMAL SETTLEMENT

  1. OTJOMUISE 6 & 7 AND BABYLON, OKURYANGAVA, WINDHOEK: FORMALISATION OF INFORMAL SETTLEMENT

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been appointed by City of Windhoek to formalise the following areas- Otjomuise 6 and 7 and Babylon, Okuryangava. The task involves participatory involvement of the community leaders and residents in respective areas in the preparation of formalisation layout plans.

  1. DONKER HOEK, KALKRAND: FORMALISATION OF DONKER HOEK INFORMAL SETTLEMENT

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been appointed by Kalkrand Village Council to formalise the Donker Hoek informal settlement consisting of more than 200 residents. The task involves participatory involvement of the community leaders and residents of Donker Hoek in the preparation of formalisation layout plans. It is anticipated that all the town planning processes will be completed in April 2018.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENTS

  1. EXTENSION 6 GROOTFONTEIN EIA

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in preparing the EIA asessment and the EIA report for the township establishment for Grootfontein Extension 6. The reports were submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and an Environment Clearance Certificate was obtained.

  1. EMMERENTIA, WINDHOEK: ONE TOWNSHIP ESTABLISHMENT

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in preparing the layout designs and an application has been lodged with City of Windhoek. The Consultant also prepared the EIA asessment and the EIA report has been submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. The extension will create +- 133 erven earmarked for the low-medium income earners. It is anticipated that all the town planning processes will be completed in June 2018.

  1. OKAHANDJA: CONSOLIDATION AND SUBSEQUENT SUBDIVISION INTO 75 ERVEN

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in preparing the layout designs and an application has been lodged with Okahandja Town Council. The Consultant also prepared the EIA asessment and the EIA report has been submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. The proposed subdivision will create +- 75 erven earmarked for the low-medium income earners. It is anticipated that all the town planning processes will be completed in June 2018.

CONSOLIDATIONS

  1. CONSOLIDATION ERVEN 55-64 OSHIVELO

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in obtaining approvals from Oshikoto Regional  Council and Townships Board for the consolidation of Erven 55-64 Oshivelo.

SUBDIVISIONS

  1. SUBDIVISION OF ERF 201 SCHMELENDORP INTO 7 ERVEN

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in obtaining approvals from Bethanie Village  Council and Townships Board for the subdivision of Erf 201 Schmelendorp into seven (7) erven.

  1. SUBDIVISION OF ERF 216 GIBEON INTO 3 ERVEN

Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in obtaining approvals from Gibeon Village  Council and Townships Board for the subdivision of Erf 216 Gibeon into three (3) erven.

REZONING
Ritta Khiba Planning Consultants has been successful in obtaining approvals from various Local Authorities in Namibia-including City of Windhoek, Swakopmund Municipality, Walvis Bay Municipality, Okahandja Town Council, Rehoboth Town Council etc.  for the rezoning of various erven.
